Thirteen things that I enjoy:
- Hugs and kisses from my little ones with a special affection for those that include an “I love you, Mommy”
- Snuggling with DH in front of a fire
- Reading books to my little ones
- Hand-writing letters to friends and family (although, I don’t do this often enough!)
- Watching my little ones learn new things
- Finding (and sharing) a good deal
- Reading a good book – I always have several books that I am reading at any given time.
- Staying up late
- Watching my mom get excited about something
- Reading dessert cookbooks that contain beautiful pictures of the scrumptious desserts
- Dancing – even if it is just bopping around the house with the kids to whatever they are willing to listen to
- Spending time at the library. I absolutely LOVE books! I love to be completely surrounded by them.
- Playing sudoku

I’m with you on #4. I am horrible about doing that but need to do it more often. I know how nice it feels to me to get a handwritten note. In the days of technology we are losing our classic things like writing notes, cards etc.
God bless,
Amanda
Great list! I am a lover of books also! Our town just recently built a beautiful new library – the kids and I love to just wander through it.
Thanks for visiting my blog. I linked to the yellow cake recipe in the post, but I don’t think it was very obvious – so I wanted to share the link with you:

It was really very easy – and so yummy!
Thank you for the recipe link! I didn’t notice it in your post – but then, I don’t always see things that are right in front of me! LOL! I can’t wait to try the recipe!
What a neat list! I enjoy many of the same things…except I prefer word games to sudoku.
I never hand write letters, but I should. Thanks for the reminder (although I know you were not intending to remind me
.
